New engine blocks – only 20 hours since replacement
This Fjord 40 Open, originally built in 2007 and extensively refitted in 2019, offers a spacious open layout, making her ideal for day cruising, entertaining and short overnight stays.
The interior features a comfortable double cabin with ample wardrobe space and an electric head with shower. The cockpit is designed for both relaxation and entertaining, with two facing sofas that can easily be converted into a large sunbed, a bathing platform and refrigerators. Two additional sunbeds are located on the bow, providing comfortable space for guests. Entertainment is provided by a Fusion sound system with Bluetooth connectivity, while the aft sunshades offer additional protection from the sun when at anchor.
The yacht has benefited from a comprehensive programme of technical and cosmetic upgrades, further enhancing her performance, reliability and appearance. In 2019, she underwent a complete exterior repaint and received a new teak deck, significantly refreshing her overall appearance. The IPS drives were replaced in 2020, while new exterior cushions were fitted in 2022. Onboard power is provided by a Fischer Panda 8 kW generator.
In 2024, further significant maintenance and upgrades were carried out, including the installation of a new Raymarine GPS plotter, replacement of the fuel injectors, turbochargers and engine couplings, as well as full engine servicing. The engines have been professionally maintained on a regular basis.
Both engines have recently received new engine blocks and have accumulated only 20 hours since the work was completed.
