We leave the small green island of Vidos behind us and drive past the beautiful old town of Corfu and, of course, its protector, the impressive old fortress.
-
We continue south in the morning breeze and see the airport to starboard, and if we are lucky, we can see a plane landing or taking off in the golden background, as well as the famous Mouse Island.
-
Soon two islands are visible on the horizon, Paxos and Antipaxos. As we enter the channel that connects the three islands, we can now reach our first destination at a slightly higher speed. According to legend, the picturesque island of Paxos was created when Poseidon wanted to create a romantic refuge for his lover Amphitrite and therefore cut off the southern tip of Corfu with his trident.
-
A series of caves await our visit on the steep, rocky west coast of Paxos; each one more impressive than the last. You can rely on our experienced captain to pick the right spot for the perfect photo as you explore the caves. If you wish, you can even make a first swimming stop when the water is clear and the beautiful rocky coast can be seen in the background.

A little further south is Antipaxos. Described by many as the “Caribbean" of the Ionian Sea. Voutoumi Beach and Emerald Bay with its white sand and sparkling turquoise waters leave nothing to be desired.
